Heh... anyhoo... Staples has a cool cool sale on the SD cards. Yep, right here:
http://www.staples.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/StaplesProductDisplay?&langId=-1&storeId=10001&noredir=true&catalogId=10051&productId=200399&cmArea=SEARCH Well, that's one of them that's on sale, anyway. That's the standard 2 gigabyte model. It should work with my Canon a520 4MB cam. It'll also be great for the
ReadyBoost feature in Windows Vista. Not that I need to do that now, but wow... I could run up to 6 gigs of RAM on my laptop. That would be great for working on large photos and maybe texture caching for 3d apps. Well, I'd need a faster SD card for 3d... and of course, I could load a Linux distro in there, too, to run in other USB/SD bootable PC's! Cool!
Looks like a long walk is in order, if I can swing one, over to the local Staples. Hmm. Or, be a lazy @$$ and burn a few carbons (but gas prices are really SUCKING sH** now 8-P). Let's see. 8-)
Lunch. Time.
HUZZAH!
