That dream: I love interpreting dreams, so let's see.

Seeing th scary guy in what turned out to be Hood's house...I dunno. I wanna say that it could be about how AP English seemed scary in the beginning, but then you saw Hood and found out what kind of teacher he was, how he could be a friend you could talk and laugh with too (as evidenced by the fact that he was doing something so silly as show you his china and laughing about mac-and-cheese), that put you at ease. He represents, if your mind works at all like mine does, knowledge and challenges and all that stuff associated with school. Then again, he also represents a friend, security, maybe? He did't acknowledge what was making you scared, so you decided it was kind of silly to be scared of it. But when you went to confront your fears, he had no idea what you were talking about. He couldn't protet the two of you from what you were afraid of: it's almost like you realized that you had to move on and couldn't count on him for the comfort anymore. The dream seems like you're numb, frozen, unsure about what's supposed to come next. Does that make sense?

Then again, it seems like there's still so much more to the dream. Like Hood's last comment before you woke up. Maybe you're wondering if you are alive. Are you nervous about college? I guess that's a dumb question, though. I mean, who *isn't* nervous about college?

So how'd I do? does any of that seem to apply at all? I was really good at this with Shannon a hundred years ago, but that was mostly because I knew her so well.

I like your analysis, and thanks for leaving Freud out of it--the silverwear was making me nervous. ;)

Haha, to be honest, as ridiculous as it sounds, I've never seriously took the Freudian approach to dreams that my friends have. Maybe it's because I don't want to think about their sex lives and sexual development and all that. Urgh.

That sounds pretty accurate, actually.

And yes, thank you for not bringing Freud into it. That would just be...awkward.
