drama at rush week
okay, so i'm sorry if i bore some of you with all this rush business, but i just HAVE to talk about what happened today. basically the worst day of rush ever.
so this morning we had to meet at our tents at 8 am and weren't suppose to get done until around 3:30, meaning going almost 8 hours straight without a break. WELL, first of all we had an hour delay in the morning.. because a girl caught one of the dorms on fire. apparently she was blow dying her hair and a spark landed on her quilt, basically the whole room went up in flames and she ended up losing all of her stuff. plus, they had to evacuate the entire building, so people had to come to rush dressed in bath robes and t-shirts and shorts, hair dripping wet, no makeup, nothing. then on top of that we had 2 rain delays, where we basically just had to sit around at whatever house we were at until it stopped raining. i think i ended up getting back to my place around 6:30.. three hours later then when we were suppose to be done.
oh yeah, and to top it all off.. at the Delta Zeta house (one of the ones i was interested in), i definitely spilt a glass of water all over myself.. and tripped walking through one of the rooms. it was great. i'm sure i'll be asked back =P
right now i'm pretty much eating my entire fridge because i'm so hungry. everyone else was pretty miserable having to put up with today, but i just feel awful for that one girl. we sent a collection around for her since she literally has nothing. hopefully she'll stick with rush, although i don't know since she has nothing to wear or anything.
round 3 tomorrow! i'm super excited =)
