****Done with classes for the year. Time to burn. Got a better grade than I thought I would on my civil liberties paper. It's been a good week.***

Got the idea for this from Katie. Below are one line each of the lyrics to 20 songs, a few you know, some you might not. Leave the name of the song and the artist. Have fun.

1. The tick-tock of the clock is painful, all sane and logical
2. I remember running through the wet grass, falling a step behind, both of us never tiring
3. I need a woman about twice my age, a lady of nobility, gentility and rage
4. I said thank you lord, for thinking of me, I'm alive and doing fine
5. Man she saves me to this day I don't know why She picked me up when I was down on the road with the wind when it blowed
6. Ain't no doubt about it we were doubly blessed cuz we were barely 17 and we were barely dressed
7. I don't want to fight I want to get along with you, this time of night's for singing songs about the local news
8. Lord I don't want to wax you darlin, cause you gave me my first thrill
9. She's well acquainted with the touch of the velvet hand like a lizard on a window pane
10. Why did you keep the mousetrap? Why did you keep the dish rack?
11. Lying face up on the floor of my vessel, I marvel at the stars and feel my heart overflow
12. We fail to represent We fail to be content We fail at anything we ever even try to attempt
13. When he got there what did he see? The youth of America on LSD.
14. And the inside juke-box roars out just like thunder. and everything looks so complete
15. Well, i ain't no saint and you sure as hell ain't no savior, Every other christmas i would practice good behavior.
16. Won't you take me far away from the mucky-muck man?
17. May the words of our mouths and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable in thy sight (As performed by a 90s band)
18. A million workers working for nothing You better give 'em what they really own
19. Avoid Stepping on Bela Lugosi, cuz he's liable to turn and bite
20. Love is just like the faucet, it turns off and on

I'd say 2, 8, 19 and 20 are the hardest. Kudos to anyone who knows one of those. I'll post the answers in 10 days... until then, best of luck!
