Bullet points

-Apparently I am moving again. I was unaware of this until the beginning of the week. This is greatly displeasing to me. I don't like to to be uprooted all of a sudden unless I make that decision. If I seem a bit out of sorts, that might be the reason why.

- Read this article. http://io9.com/paul-dini-superhero-cartoon-execs-dont-want-largely-f-1483758317?utm_campaign=socialflow_io9_facebook&utm_source=io9_facebook&utm_medium=socialflow While I am not surprised that comic book execs. are still only thinking about the boys it is still very disheartening to hear. For every step forward the industry takes sometimes it seems like they are still treading over the same ground over and over again. Girls will buy comic book things and you can include girls in your business model. They still buy a lot of merchandise, even if it is not necessarily action figures.

-Finishing up a Loki/Tony fic for a holiday reward. I'm feeling rather proud of it so after the secret santa part of everything is over I think I will put it up here.

-Being that I am in such a comic book/superhero/villain mood lately I have been contemplating a question. If you could have any superhero's powers, which ones would you have?

For superhero I think I would like to have Spiderman's powers. The spidey-sense I think would be very useful and being extra quick and extra strong wouldn't hurt. Maybe I just have a residual love for spider-man since he was my first favorite superhero.

For villains I would have to say either Loki or Mystique. Loki's illusion magic is really powerful and propelled by the mind, making it something that appeals to my mind since I am not exactly the physically strongest individual.

But there always is the desire for transformation within me. I just really like the idea of seeing life from many different perspectives, seeing how differently you get treated/perceived or the different things people will tell you depending on what form you take. I suppose there is part of that in Loki's magic, but his can been through. Mystique's transformation is true, that really is who she is at the moment.

What about you? Whose powers would you want?

avengers, loki, spider-man, mystique, tony stark, feminism is not a dirty word, villains, comics
