Well I've decided to start an original series of diary entries set in a fantasy world. It starts off rather boring, but trust me it gets a lot more interesting.(I actually have this plot sem-made in my head. *gasp*) So here goes nothing.
Dear Diary,
Today I moved into my new house in Hithas. It's near those pretty trees with the pink blossoms that float down like rain in the spring, you know the house I've wanted ever since I was a child. It's actually sort of a let down to tell you the truth. I guess some how during my fantasies about living here I must have made it too good, and I didn't even know that was possible. Too late to go back now, though, I've already given my old house to that darling, little thorn-in-my-side son of mine. Guess I'll just have to deal with my let downs, eh?
The people around here seem nice enough. They all smiled and greeted me when I arrived, it seemed almost too friendly actually. The kids are strange around here though. They hide from me and though their parent assure me that they're just shy I find it doubtful. I mean, there should be at least one outgoing kid in a village full of elves! I guess it's not every day they see newcomers but you'd think that they would get over their fear easier than this. It's not like I'm an orc or something horrible like that.
Speaking of orcs I must tell Thictus that my old house is on the borders of Sonpallo so he has to watch out for attacks. Knowing him he's probably already dying from having to grow his own food. That's what you get for growing soft in the city life!
Still setlling in,
