Things that pass through my mind
Sometimes I like to think of how useful my job or any job would be if the zombie apocalypse were to occur. Like some jobs, nurses for instance, are pretty easy to see how they would be useful. I mean somebody gets injured or is in pain it is good to have a person on your side who would know how to fix that. Some, like a fast food job would be useless. I mean...frying is not a necessary survival skill.
My job is hopefully to work in law enforcement. I think that it would be an underrated thing to have on your side. It's a bit physical related so you can get an edge on your fellow competitors for rations/supplies. In addition when it comes to reestablishing a society it is good to have people who know the laws and can enforce it. I understand how to write good laws, which I think counts for something even amongst the zombies.
I don't know why, but this comforts me somehow.
