This is halloween, everybody laugh and scream

I have had a wonderful Halloween. Here’s how the night went.
First I went off to eat in the dining hall, in costume of course. I was dressed in a long red robe with black trim on the sleeves and hood either trying to be a sorceress or a vampire depending on who asked. It was packed, but I was able to run into a group of friends that I have from my house. I gave out three air heads to everyone who was my friend that I saw, playing the candy fairy. Heh, I have a rather large messenger bag so I just dumped a bag of airheads in it before I left to go eat in case I saw someone I knew and the bag practically disappeared entirely during dinner.
Sometime during my conversation during dinner one of the girls, Lauren, brought up the topic of hair cutting. Somehow I got roped into getting my hair cut and I went along with it because I don’t really care what happens to my hair as long as I don’t have a pixie cut. She plotted to give me emo hair. I think it turned out well, or rather that’s what other people tell me. I really don’t have an opinion. Twas a nice bonding experience though.
Then we sat around while everyone got dressed because I was the only one who actually wore their costume all day. Well it’s Halloween, that’s what you’re supposed to do. Not like I’ll be able to do it in my future professions so I might as well do it now. They just kept experimenting upon people. One guy even slowly became a girl because they kept putting make-up on him. Eventually they converted him to a full fledged girl, complete with a stuffed bright pink bra, a black wig, and girl clothing. Unfortunately he wouldn’t leave the house looking like that. He said he looked like a cheap whore. It wouldn’t have been anything compared to some of the guys playing girl whores we saw, but he felt too self-conscious.
Almost everyone else went out in costume to a college hosted dance party. The party itself wasn’t that great since the music sucked and I can’t dance so I merely flailed about and attempted to mimic people, but the group brought a lot of life to the place. There were even a few funny costumes, like one guy named Mark, also from my house, who wore a white t-shirt and a trash bag and called himself “White Trash”. Once the party ended, we only got to stay for an hour since we really know how to piss away time getting ready, we went back to the rooms.
Amanda, another girl from the group, knows belly dancing. She attempted to teach people and I even gave it a try. It was quite fun to try even though I sucked.
We hung around some more and eventually ended up watching Saw at 2 o’clock in the morning. I didn’t find it too creepy. Perhaps I’m just desensitized, though perhaps the fact that I was lying under some very warm blankets with five friends helped the situation. It is very hard to be creeped out when you get distracted by people using your arm as a pillow. I did like the twists and it was interesting to study Jigsaw’s mind, but it wasn’t really scary or creepy. It wasn’t even as graphic as I expected, a lot of it is left to the mind. The only time I got squicked was during the razor wire guy. I am proud of the fact that I predicted who Jigsaw was, thanks to my knowledge of abnormal psyche though. Don’t worry, I won’t spoil it for those that haven’t seen it. If you like horror I would recommend you see the first one.
I went down to my room at 4 o’clock in the morning to find my roommate completely drunk off her ass. She reprimanded me for coming in late. Luckily her boyfriend was there to take care of her because I really didn’t want to take care of a drunk person when I had to get up for class. Altogether it was a very good day though.
