I'm not sure I have much to say...
I'm enjoying a spectacular day off even though I had Sunday and Monday off in a row (which doesn't happen often in this job).... I had a meeting at 9am this morning and that messed me up pretty bad. I got into this sleeping-til-10-or-11-am schedule and waking up at 7am was rough. I know what you're thinking....10 or 11am??!! But you have to understand...I don't work 9-5...I work 2-11pm. I'm like a opossum (an or a?). I'm like a opossum. I'm like an opossum. Hmmmm....
Anyways...talking to a computerized journal feels good since I haven't talked much today since I've been pretty much alone and duncing around like a lazy butt. After my meeting, I ran to the store, worked out, got gas (at $2.05!!!), watched a movie, fell asleep, got dinner, took a bubble bath (and trying to read, but I got the pages all wet so I stopped), and finally finished f.451 and started the last shopaholic book.
This weekend seriously seemed like a vacation. Adam surprised me and came up Friday night instead of Saturday even though I had to work Saturday. But then I got out at a decent time Saturday and we went to the movies. We saw We Are Marshall and I liked it. Fought back the tears at the end. Then Sunday we slept in and grabbed a bite before we both left for our respective homes. I spent Sunday and Monday night at home!! Wowie. AFTER spending 2 days with my boyfriend. Unreal. I went to Somerset and visited Amanda Schmitz which was nice and celebrated my mom and brother's birthdays. I bought pie.
In the past week I got myself into some deep spending issues, although I'm still way ahead in the money game so far. I bought my mom earrings, my brother a season of family guy, adam a dvd collection of christopher reeves for his bday, a shirt and tie for adam as well, another cool thing frome ebay for him, then 3 seasons of dawsons creek and one of SATC for myself, toooooo much lingerie from VS and Von Maur, some clothes, a book, a lot of godiva, an armani shirt, a banana pencil skirt and huge belt, a pair of suede brown boots....i cant even think of everything i bought....i spent over $650 in 10 days but its okay! I'm good! I passed on the 60% off manolos that i ALMOST bought....maybe next time. I WILL own a pair soon.
You may ask: "Hey Jenny, besides being materialistic, what else do you do with your life?" Well, I have a simple answer for you. And you may not like it. I'm gonna put it out there, and if you don't like it you can send it right back. I do nothing else. I work, sleep, and shop.....and I like it that way.
