*A few days after the defeat of the Ark Cradle, the city was gradually getting back to normal, as people returned to their homes and jobs. But despite this, Juudai couldn't help but think back to the duel he had within the Ark Cradle, along side Aki, and the information he discovered during it, that turned what had been something he idly wondered

[It was one of the first times the two had been apart for any significant stretch since Juudai had gotten back from the Arc Cradle. To say she'd been relieved when he'd come back unharmed would be a massive understatement. But, even though she was still not working (the public schools of the city not having resumed yet), she knew it wasn't the case for him. It was important he tell people what had happened through the Spirit Foundation, so she'd let him go without objection.

Still, she's very glad to see him when he gets back, giving him a quick kiss when he enters their apartment.]

"Juudai. I was thinking we could go to the hospital today and visit Yuusei and everyone together."

*Juudai gives her a smile as she kisses him on his arrival.*

I think that's a great idea! We could even bring them all a little something, maybe cookies or something like that!

*Juudai begins to take his shoes off in the doorway, but as he does, his thoughts began to wander. Looking back up at Asuka, the smile had disappeared from his face and had been replaced by a look of seriousness and slight regret for what he needed to say*

Asuka. There's something I need to talk to you about.

[Asuka blinks a couple times.] "Huh? What is it?"

*Juudai signals for her to follow him. He leads her into their living room and once she sits down on the sofa, he sits next to her. He takes a deep breath and begins to explain*

While in the Ark Cradle, I kinda found something out about myself, something I've wondered for a while, but I figured there wasn't really a way to know for sure, at least... not until much later..., so I never gave it much serious thought.

*He realizes he's being quite cryptic, so he continues to explain the situation*

While up there, I had to duel against Isabel... not our Isabel, but one from the same timeline as Z-One. She explained to me that she was around at the time of the disaster that Z-One had wished to stop, she'd lived all those years thanks to something called the Dark Star Nebula.
Then she explained to me that the Juudai from her timeline lived as long as that too, because of his fusion to Yubel and the powers of Supreme King.
