Well, the thing with Zeman, is he puts things into a state of Unlife/Death/Sealing, potentially, if he subtracts enough, and he makes prizes of those he does this with.
But, begs the question, what could be sealed by him that you'd need the needle for, unless those rumors about him liking younger women are true...
He mentioned something about using said demon king's staff to fix a curse.
Maybe that's relevant?

He has the power to Reverse, or Minus, or Undo things, with his staff, a gift from his God.
He also makes fantastic chili.
