Event Post 21 - Cliffside Angst

*The sun is setting over the island and Juudai can be seen sat on part of a cliff, just down the dirt road from Osiris Red. It's sunset by this time and the sky is a beautiful mix of orange, red and yellow. Juudai watches the calm ocean in front of him for a while before looking down at his deck that he has fanned out in his hands

Ora ora, Juudai-kun!

How are you? *Hoshi smiles at Juudai and she sits down next to him.*

*He lies, Hoshi seems really happy and doesn't want to ruin it ;o;*

*Hoshi doesn't mind sacrificing her happiness to listen to Juudai's problem.*

*Juudai sighs. He really ISN'T good at lying, is he?*

Well...It's just...I'm not having as much fun with dueling as I used too and I'm not really sure why.

*Hoshi closes her eyes to think about just what to say. She, too, hasn't been having much fun dueling, but that's for another time.*

So, in other words, you're seeing your duels become much more serious?

Yeah, pretty much. Every duel I do, even the ones that are supposed to be fun and none-serious just aren't fun to me at all.

It seems as if you lost a purpose or a reason why you duel.

Sometimes, dueling really isn't all fun and games. Though, that's my perspective on it. Yours could be a completely different thing.

Though... *Hoshi flops back and she rests her head in her hands.* You are bogged down by the fact graduation's coming up and so many different things, so I can't blame you for the stress.

Yeah...this past year especially has been really stressful. It's changed me.
You know, the whole reason I came here was just so I could have a fun time dueling, I remember how excited I was to duel all the new people I met here, but now it feels like I just can't remember how to feel that excited anymore.

The only reason I seem to duel now it to help people or if they request it of me. Even in a duel that should be fun...I see it as not having fun with them, but fufilling their want to duel with me. Nothing more.
