OH MAN I think I lost a month in time. I am preeetttty sure it's actually May 15 right now. NOT 2 weeks before the last day of classes OR 2 weeks before the kids I worked with IN GRADE SEVEN Graduate and become super sweet human beings that it's totally legal to have a drink with.
Diplomas started today. Sounds like my kids felt confident. AWESOME. That either means I'm doing okay or I AM DOING REALLY TERRIBLY. I guess I'll find out in a month or so. *shrug*
Things are winding up for the season, and I still don't have my feet under me. In fact, my feet may be WAY OUT NOT AT ALL under me... so maybe it's a good thing the season is winding up so they can catch up?
I am literally BOOKED UP TO THE MAX until July 13. FO REALZ. Crazy. Crazy awesome, I guess, but still crazy.
And all I really want to do? Is knit and plant my garden. (Yeah. Still not planted. Least.sustainable.ever. Worst.sentences.ever.too.)
Sooooooooooon my pretties. Soon it will be the lazy days of summer and I will have been married for a year and real life will begin! (I am pretty sure I will spend my entire life waiting for real life to begin.)
On the marriage front: Aside from a GINORMOUS booze and stress fueled fight last night about the standard "division of labour" issues (they happen when both people involved are over committed. Shocking, no?) things are mostly going smoothly. From time to time anyhow. At least, I feel... confident. And still very happy/fortunate to be here, in this situation. So, cool beans, I guess. I am pretty sure someone has lost a pool already about our expiry date, anyhow. Maybe a few people.
Hah. I just had a weird disassociated, "Wait.. MARRIAGE? WHAT?!?!?" moment. Ahhhhhhhhh identity. WHAT DO YOU MEAN, I AM NOT 18?!??!
That's the joy of hanging out with teenagers all day. You sort of forget you aren't one, sometimes. (gross.)
Anyhow. I am back in like with the kids I wanted to murder only a few days ago. It's good. I just wish I didn't have so much of their stuff to mark still.
MAN I AM BORING AND REPETITIVE.
DC OUT.
Did I mention we bought a trailer? And we are heading to California? And my first meeting for that new job is next Friday? And there are REALLY COOL THINGS happening at my workplace with coworkers (that I am sort of a part of)?
Well, now I did mention those things. THERE. LESS BORING AND REPETITIVE.
#WIN.
