MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!
Today is christmas eve, and I have just driven for eight hours. I am at my grandma's house in Canyon (near Amarillo)Long long long drive. Then we went to church, did church stuff, sang Christmas songs. It feels a little bit more like Christmas in Canyon then it does in San Antonio. Thank goodness. Christmas time IS the most wonderful time of the year, the song wasn't lying.
Last night my family had our Christmas. Two days early, woohoo! It was oh so wonderful, I haven't spent an evening with just my mom and dad in a long time. Daddy is usually working or I am out somewhere... But anyways it started with me comming home from baking cookies at someones house and I found a note on the door. It was from none other then the amazing Santa Clause!! He said that he had left my presents scattered around the house and I would have to follow clues to find them. Sooooo I went into the living room and there were my parents all ready to decode the clues. It was so much fun. I would get the clues from pieces of paper hanging on our Christmas tree. The first side of the pater had riddles that were Christmas songs. Ummm I will give and example : Omnipotent sleep, the happy well dressed fellows. Which is the Christmas song: "God rest yee merry gentlemen" I hope that makes since to who ever is reading this... but my mommy wrote all the riddles, ahaha, so creative! Ok so then the back of the paper told me were to go find the presents, but it was is in spanish. Which sucked for me because I'm not very good at Spanish, haha. But it was fun, and in the end when I found everything we got to open presents. I love my mommy with all my heart, she did all this for me, she is so nice to me. I wish I could do more for her.
I received amazingggg presents, SO EXCITED!!!!! I LOVE SANTA CLAUSE!!!!!!!
Now I am here at Mimi's house (that is what I call my grandmother) We are telling old embarassing childhood stories, haha. Maybe tomorrow we can go down to Palodoro Canyon, it's beautiful.
