I stopped using this when I was up in Hokkaido and fishing a lot. It sounded a lot better than just disappearing.

Was fishing for work or were you really fishing for fun?

In Hanamizuki, my character was a fisherman. Not knocking anyone who does it, because it takes a lot of dedication and work in conditions I'm too thin skinned for to make a living at it, but it's not something I would normally call fun.

There were so many nice, genuine people there in that town... but that time filming was super super busy. Being here would have been impossible.
