...but it is about BASEBALL, WHICH STARTED TODAY, OH MY GOODNESS.
Which means the return of these flawless motherfuckers to my life:
My city is so blessed with hot athletes, it's ridic.
I've been so wrapped up in hockey that I sort of forgot how incomplete my life is without baseball. I haven't forgotten you, my first love!
The Sox kicked it off against the Yankees in NY today and they fucking took them to school. HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE THRASHED BY LAST YEARS' LAST PLACE TEAM, NEW YORK?
(sorry, New Yorkers, but I'm contractually obligated to trash talk your team. We don't beat you guys often, I gotta take the opportunities when I can)
So yeah, one game isn't any indication of a season, but our pitching looked good, Middlebrooks is back from his injury, we've got some great new guys. I'm feeling good. But I'll be happy just so long as we aren't dead last this year. After all these years, I don't ask for much.
Also, it is finally April! Which is definitely going to be the best month of my year, because I'm going to two Bruins games (Canes and PENGUINS!), aaaaand a Sox game. Fucking glorious.
