today was pretty awesome
I mean, I worked, so that was obviously non-beauty, but it was still pretty good.
Because, first and foremost, THE PENS BEAT THE FLYERS IN OT, SWEET BABY JESUS! That makes 12 in a row now! DAMN, BOYS. (but that hit on Duper in the final seconds D: FUCK YOU FLYERS, FUCK ALL OF YOU, if he is hurt too now I will rage, why can't all my boys just be healthy and happy?!)
Also, I finally got to drive my new (used) car today! It's a 2000 Volvo S70, with only about 60,000 miles on it. Our mechanic says it should be sound for at least another decade, so basically, she's my Forever Girl <3

In a lot of ways my old car was probably superior, but this one has a lot more personality, in that old Volvo way. It's gonna take some getting used to, but I think I could totally love it, whereas I really felt no attachment to my last car. I think she even deserves a name, though I have no ideas.
Lastly, my hair is apparently rockin today, because it got alllll the compliments from the middle aged ladies. WHAT'S UP, SOMEONE'S DIGGING ON THIS. god, what is my life. but it was still kind of nice.
THE BRUINS PLAY THE HABS ON WEDNESDAY, is anyone gonna be watching? A Bruins/Habs game is basically one extended brawl. It is going to be awesomesauce, I can't wait. Hockey rivalries are the best.
