things that are currently awesome:
-3 day weekend! which = cookout, which = booze!
-my sister and I are going to another Red Sox game on the 13th, and today at work my brother won a pair of tickets to the same game. what are the odds? so now all the sibs get to go together, awwww.
-fall weather! it's like New England got the memo that September = autumn. it's been low 70s during the day, 50-60s overnight. which means jeans and blankets! you have no idea how excited this makes me. I'm ready to put on a sweater, listen to my autumn playlist, and sip some hot cider.
what are your favorite autumn songs/albums/bands?
-on Sunday my mom and I are going to see the DINOSAUR EXHIBIT at the Boston Museum of Science! this is the final weekend, and I've wanted to go all summer. I feel giddy like a kid. we are two geeky peas in a pod.
-tonight I started my cardigan 2.0. the yarn is much softer than version 1, I think it's going to come out wonderful. the cool weather has me motivated to start knitting all sorts of cool weather gear.
-Reid's season 6 hair. just when I think he can't get any more adorable. at first I thought NOOOOOO hair is gone, that's like killing a unicorn! but it's just so friggin adorable when it's all messy and bedhead-ish and you can just imagine how adorable Morgan thinks it is all rumpled in the morning and um, rambling now. I just have this thing for men with glorious hair, ok?
things that kinda bum me out:
-I keep getting these stomach cramps, which are annoying. usually I get pains lower down in my digestive system, so this is something fun and new. yay.
-the fact that I could have been in Missouri with my favorite girls right this second if I were not so broke and pathetic.
-the fact that my brother starts classes on Tuesday, and for the first time in 20 years I won't be going back to school. I was so desperate to be done last semester, and now I want so badly to go back. it's partly just wanting to avoid being a real adult, but I also genuinely love lectures and reading and learning new things. it's the only thing I've ever been really good at.
but I don't miss it quite enough to consider getting my PhD. but maybe enough to audit a few evening courses at my undergrad school.
-the fact that I love coffee but it obviously does not love me.
