March 10, 2009

I woke up loving the feeling of the morning sun and cool breeze. I went over to Alma Mater to grow the Deaf Film industry from within. I paid a visit to my good loving elders that I have missed for so long. I decided to go up on the top of Morrison Canyon-- there lies 5 cows resting and got spooked when I approached them. I took a couple of pictures and took a deep breath of the nature and spirit. I drove back down and greeted few people along the way. I saw 3 old man part sitting and partly standing up in the front of the flock of sheeps. I smiled and thinking about the life they have and what if theirs was mine? I continued with my little cruise on Mission Blvd. I drove pass the Mission San Jose chapel and saw the kids on their field trip. I saw 5 kids with a teacher, maybe, they stopped at the light and 3 kids ran to the button and fought over it playfully. It made me smiled of the young minds' with full of innocence are still among this world. The day goes on at the usual Subway, Starbucks and finally, the baseball game to shoot. The afternoon worn on so long and I really felt the warmth of the sun for the first time in a long wearing days. I finally was able to drive back home and hate all of the stupid drivers who constantly making stupid choices on the road. I came around on Montague/San Tomas expressway and Homestead Rd. At last, I am finally home but still dreading on with the red light. I smiled and laughed at every car passes by as my car shakes and quakes. The flow has slowed down besides me as the other side of the intersection began to turn left. I looked at the every faces in their little mobile nutshell driving off minding their own business. SO many faces, so many lives and they are all different living their own lives. Old woman, to young funky guy, to business-like woman, some were on the cell phone, some where sticking their head forward with a cigarette in their mouth, and wow, it never ease to amaze me that there are so many people out there in this world.

No one is ever the exactly the same.

I recovered a small quote from Starbucks cup "The Way I See It #21"

People need to see that,
Far from being an obstacle,
The world's diversity
Of languages, religions, and
Traditions is a great treasure,
Affording us precious
Opportunities to recognize
Ourselves in others.
--Youssou N'Dour, the musician.

This phrase has says it all. I loved it and I am going to abide by it for life. ;) <3
