Earlier this week I was considering dropping spanish 330. I had just recieved a c- on a paper and almost failed a test. I wasn't expecting the teacher to be so exacting about spelling and accent marks and I didn't realize all of my weaknesses - not knowing how to change word functions (confusion to confused) and getting them slipped up, not adding el/la enough, ect.
Then I recieved an A as the second grade on my paper (the first was grammar, the second content). Travis told me that the cutoff for dropping classes w/o it appearing on your transcript was friday, feeling more confident, I decided not to drop it. So now I'm in the class for good.
I'm kind of gratefull for the grades, actually. It was a major wakeup call and I know spend about twice the ammount of time on my Spanish homework and am actually studying. Hopefully this turnaround will work.
