I AM MISS DOOM AND GLOOM TODAY!
Fred from work, is getting sent to Iraq. :(
My Auntie Kay had a brain hemmorage. She's braindead now, and everyday since Sunday she's been alive, is a miracle. She's my great great aunt actually, but she was a hot ticket. I always wanted to see her more, but we never did. I was talking about my memories from her house, and my Dad has the same one from his childhood. I hope she's not in pain, and will go somewhere better.
Jury duty sucked. You know how everyone says they go, and got sent home, or didn't get on a case? While, I am not one of them. Because of Regans funeral, courts were closed on Friday, so Monday was booked. I got on an awful complex civil law and negligence case regarding a mans injuries. It lasted two days, with much deliberation, and one jury who agreed to disagree with all of us. I can't say what it's about though, like names, details, the actual case, sorry. The plaintiff looked like he was about to cry when we reached our verdict, I felt bad.
Oh, and court is nothing like TV. There were few "OBJECTIONS" but that's all. Being a juror means spending hours/days on end in a hard chair, with no water, no food, and no TV court excitement.
I also am getting my tonsils out this summer, the sore throats have escallated, yesterday I couldn't breathe all day, and today it's the same thing, except I am on 1/2 ibuprofen 1/2 Codeine pills (Codene?) for the inflamation, pain, and swelling. Yeahh. So I seem fine, but am on Vicodin strength pain pills.
What else? Tomorrow is Chatham with Dylan. w00t. And yearbooks, THANKS ROBIN! Because of you, we get them EXTRA LATE!
