:-) Good times
At 5ish I went downtown with Megan.
I want to go into the Discovery Channel store to learn about stuff right? So we go in. Yay!
I find a book called "the 7 wonders of the world" and it said it included hundreds of things like it.
So I says "Hey, I know what the 7 wonders of the world are.... No wait, I only know the 7 wonders of the ancient world.... Lemme think.... The lighthouse, the pyramids, the collossus of Rhodes, the gardens of babylon, statue of zeus, the masouleum...and...and what's the last one?"
Megan: *bored stare*
Store worker that walks up to us: "Hi! Can I help you with anything? Do you have any questions?"
Me: "Yeah, What's the seventh wonder of the ancient world? We got the lighthouse, the pyramids, the collossus of Rhodes, the gardens of babylon, the statue of zeus, the the masouleum"
Store worker woman: *confused* "Ummm.... Well there's the statue ya know?"
Me: "Yeah, Collossus of Rhodes, we got that one."
Store worker woman: "Oh... right.... ummmm.... one second let me check."
*She picks up copy of book I was looking at*
*I look at my copy*
Me: "Ah! I found it! The temple of Artemis. That's right! How could I have forgotten?!"
Store worker woman: "Well.... sorry I couldn't be any help"
Me: "You were most helpfull. Thank you"
All this while Megan: *cloud of embarrassment*

And then later in starbucks
Man behind counter: "Hi! What do you want?"
Me: "Hmmm.... Do I know you?"
Man behind counter: "uhhh... what's your name?"
me: "Ian"
Man behind counter: "Last name?"
me: "Hunt"
Man behind counter: "Don't think so"
me: "Do you go to church?"
Man behind counter: *confused look*
me: "What church do you go to?"
Man behind counter: *mentions church name*
Megan: "Hey that's my church!"
Ian: "So I do recognize you! What's your name?"
Man behind counter: "Dylan"
Ian orders coffee and sits down
All this time Megan: *cloud of embarrassment*
Soooo.... Yeah. Only a little embarrassment. :-P
It was a pretty amusing day. And tommorow should be fun.
