Sometimes life is nice to me.

I happened upon 2 DJ Shadow tickets I got from work, only because I told Mike I could probably  get them and he was all about it. Then it turned out the show is a couple days earlier than when Mike's going to be here. I checked Ticketmaster and the tickets were not only $30 a piece originally, but also it was now sold out. $$$

I put an ad on Craigslist to sell them for a modest $80 for both tickets (General Admission) and ended up selling them for $140 (I'm crafty like that.) I just got back from meeting the guy I sold them to. He was a nice fellow. I actually had two offers to pay $140 but I picked the guy that was named Mike only because his name was Mike.

So Mike Fresh and I were talking about what I should do with the money and he obviously told me to buy a passport finally. I was a little reluctant to do that because I don't see myself using a passport very often, regardless of Mike being in Canada, you still don't absolutely need a passport to get into Canada until at least Jan 2009 if you're going by car/bus/whatever. But I decided to get one with the money because I wouldn't have even HAD the money if it weren't for Mike telling me to get the tickets. I wanted to get a tattoo with the money, but I have money for that too I guess.

Yesterday wasn't too bad of a day either. My friend Tony from St Louis was in town on business and he had the company credit card. We went to Kuma's Corner, a restaurant that has all their food named after metal bands. I got the Metallica (Chicken sandwich with buffalo sauce and bleu cheese). The food was fucking amazing! They didn't even ID me when I got a beer either, but Tony ran into his old friend from High School there and she was our server so I think that may be part of the reason.

Oh, and Gianna dyed my hair at the salon for freeee:

i was drunk when I took this.

Entry about Cali coming up soon. The pictures are taking forever to upload on photobucket.
