I watch them walk down the beach hand in hand, and it hurts. I could have had that, I could be there now with him, but I’m not. I know they are happy, I can see it in their faces, and I don’t want to ruin that for them, no matter how hard it is. After everything they have been through, they deserve to be happy. So I’ll smile and pretend everything is ok whilst I watch the man I love walk away from me, and into the arms of his lover. I guess I can’t really complain, it was always me that said they would make a cute couple, I guess I just never expected them to prove me right. But God, how do I look Eric or Ryan in the eye in work tomorrow?
