I just spent a night and a part of a day yesterday in the hospital because of a bacterial parasite going around in fast food. Or so I'm told that's where it comes from. It is called gastrointanitus or something or another. They are food poisoning like symptoms. Only I've been told you can die from it if not taken care of. It comes on very quickly, and doesn't stop until you get treated or your body collapses.
Symptoms I had:
First you throw up whatever is in your system (whatever you ate most recently)
Then you will start throwing up uncontrollably every 5-10 minutes, dry heaving with bial (orangy-yellow substance)
Severe dehydration, but you can't even sip on something or you will throw it right back up
Severe hot and cold flashes
Fever on and off
Passing out
No control of bowels or urinary tract (in others words you've got stuff comin out of every end)
These are not light symptoms either. I'm talking very violent, very severe symptoms. I have never been so sick in my life. If you live in Orlando go to the Florida Hospital Downtown, there is almost no wait. They will give you 2 shots, do a bunch of blood tests, and hook you up to 2 IVs. I was out in and out in about 6 hours, and today is the day after I got out. I am very weak, and don't have an appetite. Any sudden movement or change of position and I get a pounding in my head (not like a headache).
Please be very careful. I seriously thought I was dying. If you start to get any of these symptoms go to the hospital immediatly. Do not attempt to drive yourself. Thank God for having Brandon around. xo
Everyone take care, and try not to eat fast food for a while. (I had Burger King that day)
