Gah! Gah! Gah!
Now that the chorus of Gahs has commenced, this entry can continue. My throat hurts so I think I may be getting sick again. Which is all good and well (or sick, should I say), but I hope I can get over this before Opa. What a cruel twist of fate it would be if I were sick TWO WEEKENDS IN A ROW.
In other news, I have a lot of homework tonight, and I've only done one thing of it. I guess I should get on that, eh? Nah. I think I might take a pass on that one, at least for now. Besides, I've got between the hours of 8 and 10 to do it, because Monday Night TV sucks. A lot.
You know what I think? I think that people should learn how to shut up. Do you know how many words are wasted by all the useless smalltalk that goes on on a daily basis? Well, neither do I, but I'm sure it's a lot. And believe me, after a while small talk can get annoying. It's not that I think people should speak only when they've got something hugely important to say. It's just that if a conversation is lagging, guess what? THAT MEANS ITS OVER. Stop trying to keep it going, okay? And no talking about the weather, either. You know a conversation is dead when someone brings up the weather (unless under special circumstances, such as, "It's a really nice day, you wanna go do something?"). I could go on and on about this topic forever. If you don't have anything to say, don't say it! I think a lot of people, when they are stuck for things to say, tend to babble on and on about stupid things in hopes that something interesting and conversation-starting will pop out of their mouths. I should write a book on Conversation Rules. It would be a bestseller, I tell you.
Goddamnit that was bothering me. Glad to get that off my chest.
