I saw the Slackers in Chicago with my three favorite trombonists on Sunday. It was AMAZING. I had THE best seat in the house. There was not one person between me and the stage and I was dead center. The trombone player/ vocalist damn near hit me in the face with his slide like ten times. He kept laughing at my awesome dance moves and my cheesy ass smile. You'd be smiling all cheesy too if you were front and center for the Slackers!
We rode the train, ate at Pizza Capri, and walked 11 blocks from the train stop to get to the show. An Indian guy at the 7 11 made fun of me. I drank a Fierce Mixed Berry Gatorade. That was the most enjoyable concert I've ever experienced. I had so much fun.
I'm also slightly addicted to Chai Tea Lattés. Not completely addicted, but slightly.
