so, yeah.
lately, i've been really into being a huge nerd and reading/re-reading books.
i've also been into catching up with old friends.
you know, the real ones.
i hung out with paul purdy last week and it was amazing.
we snuggled in his fancy new bed [that has a REMOTE CONTROL!]
no big deal, it only sounds like a motorcycle engine when you press a button.
he had a "housewarming get together" and it was guh-rate. [great...duh]
he's also going to make me a bed in one of the toy rooms.
[yes, there are multiple]
seriously though, would you expect anything else?
ALSO- i went to mags with elisabeth P!
we checked out the new additions to the building and caught up with some some old administrators.
i can't believe 2002 was that long ago.
i am an old lady- for sure.
i'm glad elisabeth and i were there together.
i wasn't the only one who looked like i just hatched out of something.
we're going back tomorrow to hit up the art department and see mrs. clark and mrs. DK.

so yeah, i've really liked having time to myself lately.
in fact, it's very relaxing and comforting.
hence, i've read 8 books in a week.

i've also rediscovered a consistent workout/running schedule.
i'm getting abs, it's crazy.
since i've been irish dancing again, i'm so much happier.
i like it. a lot.
things with my mom are tough.
more so than i thought.
i'm very lucky to have good people in my life to help me out and let me express my real emotions.
[so, thank you....seriously, words cannot express]
i went to get coffee today with margie [best coworker ever]
we had a wonderful chat @ starbucks.
we have the perfect combo of storytelling/listening/advice giving-taking.
so perfect.
it's rare to find a friend in which you feel no need to hold anything back...at all.
so yeah, props to margie for keeping it real.

oh yeah, i got my palm read last week by an unnamed source.
the first thing she said was "oh my! i can't wait until your book comes out!"
kickass, i can't either.
if only we could fast-forward to getting my phD.
yikes. no biggie- it'll happen.
she also said that i'm the perfect combo of tough/sensitive,
and to make sure i take care of my body.
and also, to start writing [and sending[ more letters.
so yeah, it was intense.
