In like a lion, out like a lamb.

Highlights of what's happened recently:
  • Karl started working at my workplace as a Jr. Level Designer. XD It's super awesome to be able to see him everyday as opposed to a weekend only basis. (hah, but I'm spoiled. ;P) Although his cubicle is right next to mine(!) and he often interacts with us, animators, to implement our work, we make it a point to stay professional. Currently, it's a temp position with the opportunity to become a full-time employee...so, I'm crossing my fingers. >_<;;

  • I've started playing Pokemon Pearl as per Tina (and everyone it seems)'s request. Incredibly addicting, but unfortunately, I can't get my wifi to work. =_=;; I always seem to be struggling with my built-in Wifi on my motherboard. The last time I seriously played a Pokemon game was when the first one, Red/Blue came out...dare I say this one is even better than its Gameboy ancestor. I'm somewhat bothered with its glaring similarities to its predecessors, but since its been almost 8 years since I last touched the series, it's nothing but nostalgia for me.

  • A group of us met up in Savannah, Georgia for Sidewalk Arts. We had an awesome time meeting up with Tran, Brando, Brittany, Naty, and Tran's friends. Went to the beach which was too relaxing; definitely a nice break from being cooped up in an office.
As you can tell, not *too* much has happened between that and work. I'm looking forward to doing some personal stuff after the crunch, which ends this week. I need to reorganize my website since I pretty much left the information in a heap of unfinished business. Can't wait to do some personal animations and duh-rawings. X3

Memorial Day weekend, Karl and I are gonna meet up with Brando and Dana Y. at Animazement which should be fun (in addition to picking up Odin Sphere). In June, I fly home for my mom's 50th birthday...and then, ASIA in July! Dana and I are gonna have such a blast in Japan, and then she's gonna come with me to the Philippines to celebrate my parent's 25th anniversary.

So yeah, good times ahead. My summer's already looking sweeter.
