And the beat goes on... and on... and on
In my creative writing class we had to write a story and each story is getting workshopped in class and you can't talk the entire time that yours is being discussed (an entire half hour). The critiques have been kind-of brutal so far and I usually just sit there silently becuase I feel like mine aren't worth much to the discussion and the author gets a copy of everyone's critiques anyway so it doesn't matter. So I get this e-mail from the professor saying that my critiques have been really insightful and he wants me to talk more during class because my input would be valuable to the discussion. Um... cool?
Nothing happened this last weekend. I watched the Daytona 500 and that was pretty exciting. I was kind-of upset that it finished under a yellow flag tho, because I think that Earnhart Jr could've gotten closer to the front if he'd had more time. Argh. But they had really cool commercials too. And Bon Jovi performed before the race and they rock so it was cool.
