No, really, it's an abomination.
Aside from the fact that it's bitterly cold and I have major editing to do on this one paper, today is going swell.
I had my jury meeting with the dance department, and after laughing at me for being silly and excited, they were really proud of me for my internship and my motivation to read dance criticism over January break and all this other junk, and they were pleased with everything I had to say. We even ranted about my public speaking teacher, and they all told me that he is horrible and that I should use every little blank space in my teacher evaluation at the end of the course to basically get him fired, which cracked me up!! Anyway at the end they were just like, great! Well, we LOVE having you in the department and you are SUCH an asset, thanks!! And they said I looked adorable and they were just fabulous.
And now, tonight, in fact I'm going to leave in just a little over an hour, I get to go to the Dance Magazine awards!!! Granted, I'm just passing out peoples' tickets and doing bitch work, but I'm excited, I really really really hope I get to meet the famous people. EEP! I can't concentrate on this essay revision, I'll do it tonight and stay up late, whatever!
