Last night I witnessed proof that drummers should stay behind the set, for the first song of Motorhead's oncore, Whorehouse Blues, featured Lemmy singing, and the guitarist and drummer on acoustics, guitarist checks his levels everything is great, drummer checks his, his guitar is terribly out of tune, he unplugs it and takes it backstage where Lemmy informs the crowd that they'll "be on as soon as their drum tech tunes the fucking guitar" so it comes back out, plug in, still out of tune, back it goes again, it eventually comes back in tune and the song starts, halfway through, a string brakes. At the end of the song he stood up and ripped all the strings out and threw the guitar towards someone working side stage.
