Eric,

I need your help buddy. Apparently there's a show on IFC called Dinner For Five and anyway, I just saw on AintItCoolNews.com that tonight's guests are going to be Roger Corman, Rob Zombie, and Bruce Campbell. If there's any way that you could tape this for me I would really appreciate it. In fact, this could be like an early birthday ( Read more... )

Actually I did see The Notebook, right after finishing the book, which was literally within twenty minutes of finishing the book. Good story, but I'm gonna have to sound like one of those bookworms who says, "Well, I liked the book better." It wasn't that the film was bad, it just seemed like the pacing was terrible. Things seemed more believable in the book I remember. It seemed like they were fucking like little bunnies in the movie from what I remember. The stuff with old actors I liked though.

I also saw Bridget Jones too. Things were slow around here when it came out and in a moment of weakness I saw it. Didn't really like it either though. That chick was really jealous and I think that should have just been left as a single film. Like I don't see where they could go with that character now if there was a third film, unless it was her adventures as a mother or something. Did you ever see Cold Mountain? She was pretty good in that, I thought.

I'll look for A Tale of Two Sisters and I also want to see May too. I have no idea what that's about, but I think you recommended it to me a while back and it keeps coming on HBO, it's just never a good time when it airs.

I don't know if you've seen Sideways or not, but I thought that was a pretty movie. It reminded me that California can be beautiful. Before seeing that I only thought of all of the crap that we got to see in the Santa Maria/Lompoc area. Sideways is pretty nice though.
