Well, my drabbles wot I 'ave written for people seem to 'ave gone down dead well. It just goes to show that my beta reader 'as no taste whatsoever. I 'ave also been finking that 'as some of my great works of art may 'ave wot some oversensitive types fink is 'objectionable content' (normally I would like to shock and disturb and traumatise for life but Dreya says that doing this might get me kicked off LJ) I should 'ave some sort of rating system. So ere it is, it is based on the reactions wot my beta reader 'as when I make 'er read it.
Violence:
* Dreya rolls 'er eyes [pathetic lack of violence]
** Dreya pulls a face [violence hinted at - prob'ly a 'character driven' fic]
*** Dreya starts muttering something about 'the poor serpent' [A moderate amount of violence]
**** Dreya bursts into tears and demands to know how I could write such a thing [Lots of violence - probably snake torture]
***** Dreya curls up in a corner sobbing and rocking back and forth [Loads of dead brilliant graphic violence in which Crawly the antagonist gets wots coming to 'im]
Sex:
0 [no sex 'cos the fic is just snake stabbing violence]
1 Dreya sniggers a bit [mild stuff - mostly innewendoes]
2 Dreya sniggers a lot [some sexual references - mentions of 'loitering']
3 Dreya looks nauseaous [now we're getting there - mostly implicit 'lurking' and 'skulking']
4 Dreya goes pale and vomits [explicit descriptions of 'demon on demon action' dunno why people prefer to read about rubbish demons doing it with poofy angels]
5 Dreya starts screaming at locks 'erself in the shed [dead graphic stuff - unfortunately there prob'ly won't be much of this owing to the fact that Dreya always seems to need 'therapy' afterwards]
In other new: I 'ave definitely sucessfully managed to shift blame onto Nagini with regards to that little mix up last week. Unfortunately she seemed to be bit unmotivated at our meeting earlier today (she was wearing that 'Down With Patriarchy' T-shirt again), so I threatened 'er with the imp creche again - this delegashun fing is harder than it looks. She did 'owever tell me that word is that girly wanker Belphegor has been trying to 'ave me demoted, an' that Dagon 'as been telling everybody that I'm into Dementor porn.
