Eduard had been so far gone in the throws of a dream that he didn't even register Gilbert's good morning kiss or the fact that he then quietly slid out of bed to trek outside for a morning run. In this particular dream, Eduard happened to be a military strategist serving alongside Master Volkwin of the Livonian Brothers of the Sword against the Teutonic Knights of Prussia in the early to mid 1200's. Wait...something was happening though...their armies were suffering too many defeats and despite his most cunning plans and daring troop movements, the end was drawing nigh. The order was to be absorbed and for some reason he himself was being demanded as a spoil of war. The last thing Eduard remembered before waking up was being handed over to the leader of the Teutonic opposition only to find that it was...Gilbert

It was a familiar sight upon entering the longhouse. Eduard was hunched over some sort of small diagram or construction project, muttering to himself as he adjusted his glasses and checked his sketches. What caught Gilbert's eye was that despite how long it had been since any of them had stepped foot anywhere near a shaving razor, his boyfriend's face still looked just as smooth as it usually did. He couldn't quite wrap his mind around that one because even HE had a bit of white stubble warming his upper lip and jawline. He was by no means complaining as he happened to find it quite sexy.
