I can’t describe how I feel. I think it’s the most along the lines of numb. I’m sitting in an office and waiting. I have no idea on what really. I shouldn’t have even stayed here. But he said to fallow, so I did. This Angel. I have this weird feeling I know him. Like I would have met him before or something. Though, in the same time I’m pretty sure

"Ah, Angel. Good to see you settling in so well. Oh, a new client?"
I turned and gave Connor my best smile. I knew damn well who he was, and what he represented. I held out my hand, turning up the charm to full.
"I'm Ms Lilah Morgan. It's a pleasure to meet you...Mr..?" I tilted my head to the side and waited for him to introduce himself. I could feel Angel's eyes boring into my back.

"I'm Connor Reilly." Her hand is much more warmed than Angel's, I wonder why... "Pleasant to meet you, Ms Morgan." I smile to her and hope I'm not blushing. Focus! I'm not here for the pretty view!

"And what is this illustrious firm doing for you today? We're here to help, aren't we Angel?"
I directed my remark to Angel, turning to him and letting the veneer drop for a moment to see that I was not pleased with this turn of events.

But he wasn't my son anymore.
"Connor here was just leaving. Is it time for our meeting already Lilah?" Feigning a look down at my watch I killed off a few more seconds. I'd rather kill Lilah, but she was already dead.

"Sorry Angel, I know you have a full plate and all, but there are some pressing matters we need to discuss."

"I'll call." I say to Angel waving the phone number he has given me and then walk out. So, how fast could I get out of this firm? It still does give me creeps...

"Cute kid." I remarked casually. "Good thing he doesn't take after you too much."
I walked over to his desk and leaned on it.
"Champ, there's some business going on that you aren't taking care of, and I have to wonder why that is so. Granted, the presence of your slayer ex-girlfriend is a distraction but still, you need to keep your eyes on the ball. We've a werewolf on the loose and also a woman who got bitten by it. Plus, your buddy Charles hasn't turned up to work for several days. Not like him, wouldn't you say?" I pressed, wanting to see his reaction.
I wasn't omipotent, but I could sense that he had something brewing. Angel was always one to chomp at the bit. Trying to wrench the reins from our grip. Little did he know just how much he was playing into our hands by resisting.

"Is that the best you can do Lilah? I'm the CEO and you expect me to chase after some werewolf?" Had Spike mentioned something about a girl and a werewolf too? Great, ghost boy is out doing the job again.
"Did you want Gunn for something?" Smirked at her for a moment. "Need someone to help clean out the big cats litterbox huh? Bet that's a job you don't want to do alone." The picture of the panther eating her alive made me all tingly inside.

"Mr. Suharto had some interesting things to say about your performance Lilah. And I never claimed to have a halo, for the record."
Getting up I stood close to her, brushing a hand against her shoulder. Time to see how far I could push.

"Kiss and tell? Tell me something Lilah, do you miss Wesley? Does it just make your dead heart bleed a little to see him with Fred?"

"Oh please. There's more chance of getting blood from a stone. Wes is old news anyway. Since he seems to be going for insipid gidget-girl types these days, that leaves me free to do whatever I please, and whomever I please." I widen my smile into a seductive grin, and tilt my head back invitingly.
"Besides, for all that flirting with his darker side, it never changed the fact that deep down he was straighter than a goal post. I like my men with an edge and you certainly qualify."
I pull away from him and move to the front of his desk, leaning back on it with a challenge in my eye.
"Wanna take me for a spin? Or would that endanger that lovely shiny soul of yours, curse and all? I've gotta wonder if this just all an act to make your slayer ex-honey outside sit up and take notice. I saw her making big anime eyes at our resident ghost only a few minutes ago...Is that it?"

The chill in her voice at the mention of her former scruffy lover was priceless. Pretend you'd never been human Lilah, it was what you do best.
Pushing her down on the desk I slid her skirt up some. We were both immortal, no reason to get in a hot steaming rush. Cold hard screwing, that was what it was about.
"Be nice to think you could get rid of Angel isn't it? We both know Angelus should be running this place." Gripping the front of her shirt I tore it, ripping the buttons off with a tear.
"He's closer then you know dear."

Soul boy seems pretty intent on taking what he wants, but will he pay up afterward? Quid pro quo. He'd better tell me what was up, and what Suharto had said. I hate to be out of the loop.
Of course it wasn't as if I haven't fantasized about being with Angel. Wondered what it would be like. My brief lapse with him (or should I say his body with the old guy inside) had been captured on camera much to my embarrassment. Not a high point. Still, what is it with me and desks? Something about the cold hard surface pressing up against me sends a thrill rushing through my body.
And damn that was an expensive skirt but to see him tear at it like that, what a turn on.
"So what now, champ? Just think, Buffy could walk in that door any second..."

"Champions are a fairytale, something for wide eyed kiddies to believe. Your not a kid. Wide eyed, maybe."
Smirking I pressed against her hard. Sure Buffy could come in. With Spike out ther why would she care about me though?
"Never know when Wes might come back either. Might have to fire him if he got all opinionated." Cupped her breasts to my mouth, teasing her with my bite.
