So we have a client at my work who is on methadone (well, technically we have many, however...). Now, normally for these clients the methadone is delivered by the pharmacy daily, at a cost of around nine dollars and change. It just so happens that this client simply could not afford the cost, so one of the PSWs made a RARE arrangement with the pharmacy to have an entire month's supply delivered in one shot, which I took receipt of this evening. Cost? $19.50. Total. Now that's a motherfucking dispensing fee. New life plan? Opening a methadone pharmacy (aka: license to print money).
