As weird as it is to admit it, I think I'm actually starting to get used to this place. I guess it's kind of nice to have some peace and quiet for once, but...
I mean, is there anything to actually do here? And I don't mean taking a paper route or anything like that. What I mean is... er, wait, hang on.

Am I doing this right? Anyway, I wanted to know if anybody was actively trying to escape this town. Any resistance groups, or underground organizations, like- [he catches himself before he says "Scar Chain"; the memories are too fresh, too raw.] or anything like that. I know I'm just a kid, but if there's any way I can help out, I'd really like to know.
I know this is probably true for all of us, but I've got people waiting for me back home that I need to get back to. [or rather, just one person. isn't it sad Ganta.] Also, uh... if I have to spend one more day mowing lawns, I think I'm going to go out of my mind.
