Back from the pillow fight. Wow -- what an experience! When I first discovered that the event was suppose to go on for three hours I certainly didnt believe a mass pillow fight could go on for such a lengthy time. But it did! Utter chaos. It took place at the Embarcadaro near the water. Perfect weather. All the local news stations filmed the masses. At exactly 6pm tons of people gathered into a man-made mosh pit and just went crazy. Sadly, I lost my red hat. Unable to withstand more than 9 seconds of random blows to the head, we left the pit and just watched the craziness transpire. OMG! So glad I was able to experience it. Supposedly, the idea of bringing the pillows was to leave behind for the homeless, said some random guy. Super enjoyable experience.
