Okay, so I'm confused... Mars: In your reply to my review of Chapter 10, you said that there would be a new one-shot added to Through the Glass Darkly that week, and then on your last chapter, you said that Artemis would add Chapter 5 this week, as well

Did you post it up!? I'll have to check it out...
As for my own writing habits, they've been mostly nonexistent. I've done a little bit of original stuff, but haven't posted it anywhere, and it's really more for the sake of getting it out of my head than anything else. I kind of messed around with a new chapter for Back Home Again, so I intend to pull that up this weekend and see what I can do to get it in decent order and post it. ... But don't hold your breath.
Actually, funny you asked! I was debating with making a new post about that, because I just got a call from my parents who are at the world-renowned research center in Arkansas, the place that deals solely with myeloma, and they've been doing all these tests this week, right? My dad had some bone marrow taken out, they took out 20 vials of blood, and did an MRI and all sorts of stuff, basically. Anyway, the point: the doctor told them today that he sees no reason not to believe that we'll be able to get another 10, 15 years (or more!). I guess the difference between him and the doctors here at home (who said 2 years if we're lucky) is that this place has a different treatment plan. They compared it to a burglar breaking in--you don't want to mess around and hit him in the nose and then let him get up and then kick him in the leg to distract him for a few minutes and then let him get himself together again before you attack again... you don't want to dance with it. If you're worried about your life, you just take the gun and get the guy down for good. Which is what they're going to do. Apparently it's going to be some pretty intense treatment but in the end it will be so much better.
So basically, I feel so relieved.
