Happy New Years!

Jan 01, 2007 02:25

I hope all of you guys had a wonderful New Years Eve, and that 2007 brings incredible new memories.

I spent my day with Boyfriend, yet again. I took him to the Cowboy Hall of Fame, Oklahoma's own little slice of culture, and we wandered around there for an hour and then went to eat at a cute little deli with my family. Then I went home for a few hours and back to his house around 9ish, where his whole family was (extended members, included). I got to spend some time with his cousins, which was nice, and with him, which is always appreciated. And after a bit my best friend came over with her boyfriend. We all rang in the new year together and then proceeded to get insanely hyper. My best friend and I got into one of those slapping contests, where you hit each other's legs and see who chickens out first, and it got intense, haha. Our boyfriends were just sitting there watching and occasionally interfering when they felt their girls were getting a bit too beat up. Haha. But we had tons of fun and acted completely wasted even though none of us touched alcohol. Maybe that sparkling cider had a bit of a kick to it... haha. And my best friend and I, of course, took tons of pictures, as is habit.

And I just got home a bit ago, a relatively early night for New Years, I'd say. But I had an amazing time; this was probably the best New Years I've ever spent. Not to mention that I got to kiss Boyfriend at midnight.

So, my resolutions? Let's see. I figure I should make quite a few, so that I won't feel awful if I don't make a few of them. And if I don't post them I'll never remember, so you all get to read them, as well. Aren't you privelaged?

1. Stop pushing people away
2. Let myself fall in love
3. Get a 35 on the ACTs
4. Finish Back Home Again, Annabelle Mathews and Playing With FIre
5. Have considerably less drama than I had in 2006
6. Make a new friend
7. Finish junior year with straight A's
8. Ride on the back of a motorcycle
9. Chalk a driveway/post it note a car or other such similiar things
10. Make more money than I spend

Is that enough? I'd say so. #4, #6 and #9 don't worry me too much, but oh well. They're on there to make me feel accomplished at the end of the year, right?

I'll be posting more character sketches soon, I believe. As soon as I get the time, anyway. Which, considering tomorrow I have possible plans to talk with one friend and almost definite plans to spend time with my best friend, and then the day after that I might have a mini party to go to or a movie to see, and then we go back to school Wednesday... well, that means they may not be up for a while. But hopefully I'll get some breaks in between get togethers to write some more.

I swear, this break has been the most busy one of my life. The only two days I haven't gone out with friends were Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
