an analysis of Collins Hill academics departments:

well i was sitting down and having a chat with my mom about school and grades, and we got into a discussion about a few of my classes.. AP British Lit. and Algebra II in particular... and i got to thinking about Collins Hill's academics in general... and this is the analysis i've made:

Math Department- the math department at collins hill has no hope for success at all. i'd say a good 2/3 of students fail a math course at some point in their high school experience... i'm on track for failing my second at the moment. Mr. Vezeau is the shittiest teacher ever, next to Mrs. Daymude. ENGAGE YOUR FUCKING STUDENTS, FOR CHRIST'S SAKE! i'm sick of the boring notes on the overhead and homework assignments graded out of 9 points. your grading systems are fucking shitty, your lesson plans are boring, and you just suck.

Social Studies Department- 10th grade- probably alright, unless you had Mrs. Thompson. the woman literally rewrites history herself JUST so you will fail her tests! 11th grade- too easy. challenge me already. overhead notes and a sad regurgitation of what's on the board followed by an even more repulsive regurgitation of the notes in test form! oh well.. i can't complain too much about a 95%.

Science Department- 9th grade- biology teachers take their jobs too seriously. i mean come on... we just came from a middle school where we were pretty much spoon fed the curriculum... we're not ready to jump into a college level course! and science fair.... in 9th grade... excuse me? pfft go fuck yourselves... 10th grade- this is probably the only good portion of the science department at the entire school. good teachers, interactive learning, fun labs, good tests. glad i had Dr. Tsoi.... 11th grade- ok... answer me this... i want to be a writer... now why in the HELL do i need to know anything about physics? such a pointless class... i have Lotspiech... i can't recall a day where we've actually had a REAL assignment. *shrugs* i have a 93%

Language Arts- 9th grade- again with the college level classes... cut the shit, teach us the books and give us tests, enough said. 10th grade- good if you're in AP and had Mrs. Taylor. i learned more from that woman than i have from any other language arts teacher in my schooling career... except perhaps Mrs. Johnston in 7th and 8th grade. 11th grade- AP British Lit.. the class is on BOOKS not on how well you write. i wish Mrs. Hudmon would understand that. if you don't write like an author, you're pretty much screwed in that class... and unfortunately enough for me, i write in black and white... not rainbow. i tell it like it is.. facts and nothing more. flowery writing is supurfulous. it's not needed when analyzing a novel. fuck you 11th grade AP. FUCK YOU.

Orchestra- was good a few years back...when people actually gave a shit about music. it's declining by the year... people are getting lazy. they'd rather watch the OC or Laguna Beach than practice for 15 minutes on their fucking instrument which costed their parents an arm and leg to buy for them. it's sad to think that the class i'm in is a more advanced class, and yet i'll bet you 90% of the people have not practiced their instruments ONCE this year. fucking pathetic. you don't want to practice? move down to concert and save the talented musicians the headache. you make me sick

german- good program, harder every year. doubt i'll keep it up next year... maybe take german III over the summer if they offer it.

yeah i guess that's all for now...
