Today was kinda nice. And, by nice, I mean I actually enjoyed it.
I actually woke up without my alarm this morning. Only without my alarm because at some point my phone fell off my bed (or, probably was violently thrown) and it was on vibrate so I didn't hear it attempting to wake me up. Got up and was outta the house by 7:20. Nice. Traffic was a little icky this morning because of the rain, like I said, but it was not so, so bad.
It rained all day, though. And by all day, I mean all-fucking-day.
I met up with Savanna in the Union after classes. We hung out for a while until Allie met up with us and we all headed back to Res Tower so they could get ready. I drove them to Bel Air so they could visit at John Carroll, and so we could get Chipotle and stop at Sav's house to get things. It was all quite exciting, if I may say so.
Got back to Towson around 5:30. Dropped them off at Res Tower and started driving home. Only, well, this was a terrible mistake. Every road (EVERY) was dead. Northern Parkway was impossible to turn onto. Putty Hill was stopped. Joppa was stopped. Everywhere was dead. It's Friday, 5:40, in the rain. What ELSE did I expect?!
Well, so, I went to the mall. Just to walk around, really; not intending to do anything exciting. I stopped in Aveda and saw my lady-friend. Got a pumpkin spice frap from Starbucks, and just wandered around for two hours. I like it. I like walking around. Even if it IS by myself. That's okay. I'll get used to it.
I stopped in the Gap and I was surprised. Just, in general. And I was happy. Really, really, really happy. Their new winter line is impressive. And happiness-causing. For real. I was just looking around, and I found the following which I am going to buy once I get (a) income, (b) giftcards, or, (c) my mom to buy them. The first part, at least I guess the first few of each section -- if not all of them -- are the ones I found in the store. Most of the ones near the bottom are things that I found on the site.
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=5180&pid=381363That is too cute. How could I not fall in love with that? I'll take it in both colors.
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=5180&pid=381397I really thought this was nice, but I wasn't exactly sure how I'd wear it, so I didn't think too much into it, or try it on. And keep in mind, I was trying things on for 45 minutes. Seriously.
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=5180&pid=422418Again with the simple adorableness. I'll take it in both colors.
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=5180&pid=381333And I am totally in love with this. I'm not kidding. I tried it on, and just stood in front of the mirror touching myself in it. And not in the dirty way. In the "I have to have this" way. Because, realistically, I'd die for it.
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=5180&pid=365696This is nice. I like the buttons on it, but I'm not sure I like it in the "Stone."
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=5180&pid=378344This is okay. I like it, but I kinda think it's a little too grandma. Even though I... kinda like that. Haha. I'd buy it.
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=5180&pid=381394Same as what I said for the above.
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=5180&pid=381360I really like the stripes. Would look cute with a button-down shirt and a tie, right?
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=5180&pid=381396I like the colors in the "Heather," eventhough I'd probably wind up wearing the Titanium.
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=9701&pid=365396I think I really only love this because there are pinstripes.
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=9701&pid=378340This looks nice over the "shawl" collar sweater. Delightful!
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=9701&pid=378713This is delicious. I'm not kidding you. I have a velvet blazer, and it gives me the same problem this one did. I think it's because I have to take it a size larger than I would anything else, and the fact that I kinda think my arms are short. I'm going to have this. And hopefully in an XL, like I deserve.
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=9001&pid=378355I liked this in a weird "I'd have to give myself a new look with this" way.
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=11486&pid=376825I have this in the green, but I'd really like to get it in the blue. It's like everything else I have from the Gap. I have it in green, as well as blue. Hahaha.
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=16546&pid=418319&scid=418319012In both colors, these are adorable. I like the idea of slip ons, because, as most people know, I'm really lazy. And tying shoes is a really daunting task.
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=5285&pid=418234I'd like this more if it were a different color, only because the coats that I have are all black. Black and brown don't do well.
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=7192&pid=326561These are cute, just because of the colors. I'm trying to stay away from buying pants because of the weight I gained. And also the fact that there are about four pairs of pants/jeans in my closet that still have the tags on them, but I can't wear them because my ass is so huge.
http://www.gap.com/browse/outfit.do?cid=15940&oid=OUT04645I really like the look of this. I think I might maybe be able to rock it -- if I lose weight.
http://www.gap.com/browse/outfit.do?cid=15940&oid=OUT04063These pants are fantastic.
That's it.
So... yeah. That's about all I have to say.
