The product I am selling is movies and dvds. As well as selling videos and dvds, it's also movie rental store. Movie Madness is the name of the store. It's located in Des Moines, Iowa on the South Side. For every person that wants to rent a movie must set up an account with my business. These will be kept track of on computers under their name and phone number.
Every category of movies will be located there including drama, comedy, documentary, and childrens. It will also include new releases. The price of the movies will vary. The dvds and videos will be price accordingly. Dvds for sale will range from $15-$20 depending on the date and popularity of the movie. The videos will be $10 or less. To rent, the DVDs that are new releases will be $2.50. All other DVD's and videos will be $2.00 or less. Every movie can be out for five days, including new releases. If the new releases are brought back earlier than the five days it will be a dollar credit on the holders account. Their will also be popcorn, soda, and candy for sale. The building is medium sized. I am purchasing the product from a manufacturer. Then I will be marking up the price and reselling it/renting them.

Any kind of customer will be purchasing it. Their will be movies for childrens interest. Teens and Adults of every age range will buy them, both male and female. More adults under 50 will be purchasing them then over 50 years of age. My company will try to interest all types of people with the movie selections. Their income will be $10,000 and over. The customers will most likely be located near the area of the south side Des Moines.

The equipment needed will be as followed:
-Computers. These are needed to keep track of all of the movies. It's also needed to record the customers who come into the business renting movies. $1500
-Desks for the workers to stand behind for money handling and usage of the computers. Other supplies will include a cash register. $800
-Shelves. These will hold the dvds and videos and help sort them. Also needed to help sort them will be labels to put on the shelves, such as "Comedy" or "Drama". $600
-TVs. Their will be a couple of TVs on the wall to play videos as the customers are browsing and buying. Speakers will need to come with this. $250
