When my people are freed, they will, of necessity, need to develop a new form of rule. This will be their choice, and one they will need to contemplate seriously.
I cannot imagine that they would choose to exchange being ruled by one false god for being ruled by a false royal, and false it would be for there is no royalty on Chulak.
I would hope that they would choose a rule of government that benefits everyone, but I do not know that such a thing exists. Democracy comes close, but it still leaves some behind.
Perhaps, I am, as the Tauri phrase it, "an idealist" because I want, for my people, what I have yet not seen on any planet I have visited.
