okay, so we all know scientology is deliriously warped and the source of endless amusement for non-believers, but did you know it's also got some rockin' good tunes?
so rockin' it's got leif garrett AND frank stallone!!! travolta even gets his moment in the musical spotlight. personally, i'm a fan of 'the road to freedom', if only because i enjoy the irony of the notoriously insular and domineering church exalting freedom so enthusiastically (scientologists:freedom::bush:democracy).
seriously, the more i learn about it the worse i feel for these people, because it's painfully obvious to everyone outside the church that their revered founder l. ron hubbard was just a predatory sci-fi hack looking to scam rich sad suckers, and they're all being manipulated.
i guess those alien spirits xenu destroyed in the volcanoes all those eons ago and now inhabit our bodies must be the source of my cynicism.
