it's pretty confusing.

i hate the fact that i can't tell people's sexual orientations easily.

i think gay people are straight and straight people are gay and bisexual people are asexual and so on and so forth.

it's aggravating.

i guess in the case of this particular person i'm wondering about, it's really none of my business. sure, i think he's a cool guy, and it'd be pretty sad if he were gay, simply because of the situation, but it's not like his orientation really affects me in any big way.

i hope he's not, though. that'd make me question a lot more about people.

and make me take deakon's slightly creepy predictions even more seriously than i already do.

the world is pretty sad when you have to be conflicted like that, though.

lust is such a horrible thing.

actually, no.
the problem doesn't lie within lust.

i suppose it lies within peoples attitudes,
the indoctrination of society's morals to the misguided,
and simple god-fearing.

personally, i do not understand the idea of fearing god.
man cannot reach his pinnacle if he believes himself to be insignificant.
to be the best we can be, we should make ourselves into our own gods.
we are not given any explicit purpose in living,
and this is the beauty of life.

besides.
no one knows for sure what happens after death. there is no empirical proof of any spiritual matter.

but a man can easily say that he is happy as he lives. this is a far better goal to have than to worry about what happens when your life is finished.
