My day was pretty decent today, except for my orthodontist appointment. I got out early, around 2:10 for it. It turns out that I could have got out regular time, walked home, probably eaten something quick, then drove over, and still get there before they took me. My appointment was at 2:45, and I got taken around 10 after 3. I watched at least 4 (give or take 1 actually attempting to do their job) flat-assed, dykey-haired, ugly college students standing around either staring out the window, walking around aimlessly or just flat out bullshitting while I sat there and waited. And waited. And waited.
Ends up, when they finally called me, all they needed to do was polish off the old cement, rub on some new stuff, and hold a dryer on it for 30 seconds. In that order. Net appointment time: 1 min. 30 sec. Net waiting time: 20-25 minutes. Plus some extra time which consisted of more staring out the window or having pointless conversations with other acne-ridden, Dave-Matthews-listening, Volkswagen-driving SUNY Albany bitches. It was like I was a burden on them since they weren't getting payed. You'd think they'd want to do a good job so that they'd have a good reputation. From now on, I'll be telling everyone not to go there because they're stupid, lazy, ugly college students who put no effort into what they do. They used to have some semi-attractive girls working there, and my motivation for going to the appointments willingly was to get a facefull of boobs while they were working on my teeth. But not anymore. There are no boobs. There are no asses. Everything's gone.
