Sorry I have not updated in awhile the last few months have been very draining for me.
Between our last Christmas show skating together, running around after a hyper but sweet little 3 year old, going to Nationals and 4 Continents with Tiffany and Philip, coaching Tiffany and Philip, doing a mini tour across Canada for 3 weeks, getting 2 new programs designed for Canadian Stars On Ice, floating to a few different Stars On Ice while planning our last last show and getting the occassion skate in myself while eating, sleeping and exercising I really haven't had the time to update my journal so I have neglecting it. :(
Anyways, the St-Jean stop of Celebration On Ice was very emotional for myself and Lloyd. St-Jean is my hometown and the arena there is called the Colisée Isabelle Brasseur. Lloyd and I also trained very close to here in our amateur days. It was also the last time I would ever skate in the building. At the end of "The Middle" when Lloyd picked me off the ice. I turned and faced him and he said, "Isa, you were awesome tonight." I skated right over to him and buried my face into his chest blinking rapidly hopeing that it would keep my from crying but it was no use I just cried into his chest. The next thing I felt was Lloyd stroking my hair and his head coming into contract with my shoulder and I felt a few tears rolling on to my shoulder. 30 seconds last we lifted our heads to see the entire audience standing and quite a few had tears down their faces but all were smiling. It felt nice to know that even with the big stars (Elvis, Kurt, and Brian) that people still love us.
I'm pretty sure that CSOI will be emotional for myself and Lloyd none the less as well. As it's pretty much what we have done for the last half of April and early May since 92 with the exception of the year I had Gabriella. But I know that CSOI is in capable hands in the pairs department with Elena and Anton, Jamie and David and Kyoko and John for years to come. Oh boy of the CSOI tour...you won't know what happened to you after Elena, Kyoko, Jamie, Shae, Jen, and I get down with you. ;)
Love you all.
