Well it is officially Christmas week. Wow.. hard to beleive in less than 2 weeks we will be in a new year. GAH! Might as well start off by sharing a couple of my favorite pics:
Lexie performed on stage at Guts last night, and when we got home I snapped this.. and NO I didnt pose her.. she was sitting there looking at the tree singing. She is SO beautiful!
And my 3 great babies at Bass Pro right by our house with Santa.. ugh.. they arent such babies anymore :*)
Doug has off Christmas Eve and Day, and so do I so I am REALLY looking forward to enjoying that. In awesome fashion we have enjoyed having his bonus check to get things whipped into order as far as finances go. I paid 3 credit cards off in full and plan to keep it that way. Those 3 will be emergency use only for household things that must be fixed immediatly. Its good to have that in our back pocket. I planned to only use one for things like that, but we do not have a card with a large enough balance availability by itself, so we will have to just use it this way for now. Besides paying down these 3 and leaving them open will hopefully increase my credit score to a decent number again. Not GREAT, but at least the low end of good. *le sigh* Im shooting for upper end of good by the time we get all of our debt paid down so that once we have all 3 kids in full time school maybe we can start thinking about looking into a bigger house with a game room and maybe a pool since summers are so long here. We shall see. I just want my kids to want to be home, or for our house to be the one that their friends want to come hang at so that I know where my kids are. :)
Doug is doing fantastic at work. As I mentioned he got an incredible bonus. Im suspecting that in 6 months or so he may also get a raise in his salary. *fingers crossed* Dale loves him, and so does Janet, so Im thrilled for him. Speaking of them, it was their Christmas party Sat night and WOW that was a blast. We ate, laughed, drank and partied until midnight.. then came home and had some ahhhmazing sex. LOL. Good times.. indeed.
I have SO much to get done today, but in reality Im just chillin and not too worried about much. Frige needs cleaned out in preparation for holiday dinner grocery shopping. On top of this I need to figure out the menu for Christmas Eve as well, and the ingredients for Christmas morning breakfast. Doug said sausage rolls and maybe a fratata. Im thinking healthy, so egg white and spinach came to mind for me. Maybe toss in some low fat cheese as well. We will see. Ive got Christmas dinner taken care of. Need all the sides, but Janet & Dale are giving Doug the turkey, I already have the pies covered other than whipped cream.. we are doing well! WOOT!
Merry Christmas to ALL!
